A long-time patient, Nicole, transformed her smile by taking extra time for tissue and gingival changes. A multidisciplinary approach, including a periodontist, addressed square-shaped and short teeth. Due to financial constraints, the initial treatment covered the front 6 teeth, with plans for future additions. Two years later, Nicole added two more porcelain veneers, achieving the desired complete and aesthetically pleasing smile.
step two
Again, this was a case using a MULTIDISCIPLINARY approach, meaning we used the talents of our favorite Periodontist to aid us. As you can see from the above photo, her teeth were square shaped and almost too short for her face. With the help of our periodontist he performed a crown lengthening procedure. This have us a less gummy smile, more tooth height, AND the ability to make her permanent porcelain restorations less square. Win.
step three
The LIMITING factor in this case was financial and she could only afford to do the front 6 teeth at this time. This is still great. We planned the case so that we could add additional porcelain restorations down the road and make those farther back teeth blend better with the front teeth.
